About Us
Max Farms Butcher Shop opened its doors in Huntingdon Valley in mid-2025, but the story starts on a farm in New Jersey, where owner Max raises his own animals on pasture, cared for by hand from birth. Max isn't just the butcher behind the counter; he's the farmer behind the meat, which means every cut in the case traces straight back to the source.
That connection is what sets the shop apart from the grocery chain aisle: clean, honest food at fair prices, cut the way you actually want it. Ask for a specific thickness, a custom cut, or advice on how to cook it — Max and his team will walk you through it. "We'll cut anything you want" isn't a slogan, it's how the counter runs.
Beyond the beef, pork, and poultry raised in our outdoor runs, customers keep coming back for the farm eggs, farm produce like garlic and potatoes, and the homemade cottage cheese — a shop favorite.
